Ashaante Comics

Asha Theres is an author and illustrator originally from Calicut, Kerala. She is the creator behind ‘Ashante comics’ and has self-published comic books like Ponni and Goat, Blackman, Majeedka & Spacemackerel, and Girl in the New City. Asha enjoys telling stories through comics, illustrations and animations. With a background in architecture and design, she brings fresh perspective to her work. She believes the world is filled with stories waiting to be shared; we just need to listen!
